Graduation

Bear has been in "dog school" for 6 weeks now. Tuesday was week 7 and graduation day! She learned a lot. She can now sit, stay, lay down, walk nicely beside you, and spin (which she learned before class). It was a very happy day! Mommy & Daddy are very proud!

We even had celebratory cake, ice cream & chips with the class!

Ice Cream & Fried Chicken!

The shower for Baby Jac was on August 3rd! Let me just tell you this is one lucky baby! Aunt Popper did a wonderful job planning the ice cream themed shower & it was just fabulous! Every detail was just amazing! There was a ice cream bar, "melted" ice cream cone cake, root beer floats, "about to pop" popcorn favors & so much more! Thank you to Aunt Popper & everyone who helped out & came to the shower!

Baby Jac was definitely showered with gifts! He got just about everything you could possibly think of that a baby would need!

But that's not all! There was a cookout later in the evening for all of our friends to attend! Aunt Popper & Uncle Matthew (lovingly known as Uncle Junebug) had a bunch of us over at their house for some yummy pulled pork & fried chicken! There was even a pot of macaroni & cheese for Adam! I will post pictures soon! There were a million cameras & not one of them was mine. I'm blaming pregnancy brain for that ;)

8 Months & Such...

This move really has had me preoccupied! Its been almost a month since I've had a change to update! This picture is a little late, but 8 Months! Can you believe it?

We got to go to Atlantic Beach for 4th of July. It was a wonderful little get away from the moving chaos! I have to give a shout out to my wonderful husband. He is the best! He went to Ace Hardware and made sure I had an umbrella and even a chair with a built in shade to keep me cool on the beach. It was wonderful! Sadly, I don't have a picture of it at the moment, but if I find it will be sure to post it. Thank you Adam!

This is my favorite! We got to take Bear out to Hopper Island (a HUGE sand bar) and just let her RUN! She was so happy!

Stonehenge!

It has been a while since I have had a chance to post anything. We have had a lot going on the past few weeks! We officially got the crib set up last night around midnight! Adam tightened the bolts about 20 times so I don't think Jac will have any problems. 

We moved into the new house Sunday & yesterday. The last few things will make it over sometime today (Thanks Grandma Pat!). 

Thanks to our amazing family we got just about everything hauled over without any major mishaps. 

Thanks to Aunt Cece the kitchen is completely unpacked! Grandma Pat has been working hard as usual. The old house would still be full if it wasn't for her. Oma Christina cleaned every square inch of the new house before we moved in! Uncle Matthew graciously helped make several car loads last night while waiting for hard working Aunt Paige to get off of her 12 hour work shift at the hospital. Uncle Michael cleaned the high ceiling fans & helped Adam get the TV set up. Pop Jeff-ro was working hard with clients in the background & occasionally stopping by to make sure we were ok. Somebody has to work for a living around here! I would say we are pretty blessed to have such a helpful family!

It has been quite the process. Adam & I are truly thankful to have such a wonderful support system to get us through this move. It will take some time to get everything organized but at least it has all made it over.

3rd Trimester!

It's hard to believe its already been 7 months! Our weekly email update says Jac is the size of a butternut squash & he weighs 2.5 - 3.0 pounds. 2 more months and 5 more pounds and he will be ready to say hello to the world! We cant wait!

For those of you who don't know, we have a dog named Bear. She is 11 months old and has an unending supply of energy. She LOVES baths so Adam & I thought she might like a kiddie pool. Boy were we right! She wore herself out all weekend playing in the pool. It has been the best babysitter ever! We have chalked it up as a good investment of $10.00. She has only scratch 2 holes in it, which wasn't anything Adam couldn't fix with good ol' duck tape!

Bringing you up to speed...

So we got the WONDERFUL news that we were expecting our first baby the day before Christmas Eve 2012! Baby Chesson is due August 31, 2013 (My Mom's Birthday!). We kept it hush hush until Valentines Day. This was our announcement photo!

3 Months! We started the monthly photo's a little late, but better late than never!

4 Months! Looks like I have a beer belly or something. 
Growing more every day!

5 Months! Popping on out there!

6 Months! Looking extremely pregnant!

We found out we are having a Baby Boy! at 16 weeks (Thanks Nabob!). We have officially decided to name him Jac Natchez Chesson. Jac is Adam's initials, Natchez is the town we got engaged in, and JNC was Adam's Grandpa Pop's initials.

I passed my sugar test at 26 weeks, so no gestational diabetes for me! Yay!

We went for an ultrasound yesterday (Thanks again Nabob!), and everything looks great! Jac used to fit in the ultrasound screen, but he is so big now that we would only see his body in thirds!
